Last Saturday, 17th July, we played the Sunbury Community Fun Day again like last year. It was much better this year (mainly because we’re so much better now) with a lot more people sitting around and listening as the bandstand was right next to the refreshments, so people came over to get their FREE BBQ and drinks and went “Ooh, these guys are good!” ;o)
We played various songs from artists such as Stevie Wonder and James Brown, as well as performing our own song “In a Funk” for the first time to the public :)
Due to being very unorganised and lots of people being on holiday, I forgot to make sure someone was filming the whole thing! However, we were lucky enough to have a lot of it filmed by one certain audience member! And so, for all of you who couldn’t/didn’t make it, here is a YouTube playlist of all the videos from our set at the Fun Day!
Superstition did not go very well at all, everything else we are quite proud of although there is ALWAYS room for improvement!
